Blue Grosbeak in Prospect Park
Yesterday Rafael Campos found this Blue Grosbeak in Prospect Park at the Vale of Cashmere. It’s not the best picture, but you can make out the blue on the face:
This is the second Blue Grosbeak I’ve seen, but I’ve yet to see one that’s actually blue.
I relocated the bird today about 11:15 in the same place. It foraged in the leaf litter, then flew around, perching at different locations. It then disappeared but Starr Saphir found it briefly an hour or so later.
