This appears to be a Sagebrush lizard from the top view.

Looks like a Western Fence Lizard to me, but I don’t have a good grasp of the distinguishing features of these two species. As far as I know, Sage Lizard is unknown from Orange County, so this would be a big deal if it were a Sagebrush Lizard. Is there any definitive reference?
